After a strong finish to the first half of the season, the Greenville Drive are looking to put together a second half run towards the South Atlantic League playoffs! The second half begins on Thursday, June 21st as the Drive host the Asheville Tourists, an affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, for a three-game homestand. With two mainstay promotions and a special nod to the Hispanic community on tap, this is a great weekend to come out and enjoy the show at Fluor Field as a great summer of baseball continues!

The series begins on Thursday, June 21st with Dollar Drink Night at Fluor Field. First pitch is at 7:05 PM, and the drink specials will begin at 6:00 when the gates open. $1 Pepsi products are available at all Fluor Field concession stands throughout the night, and fans over 21 are invited to the 500 Club for $1 Keystone Light and $2 Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy, the perfect beer for the summer days at the ballpark.
The entertainment continues on Friday, June 22nd with the Drive and Tourists facing off at 7:05 PM. After the game, stick around for the Hubbell Lighting “Light it Up” Friday Night Fireworks! The best fireworks show in Greenville will be especially magical this weekend with Harry Potter as the musical theme, so grab your wands and invisibility cloaks to enjoy this special display! Fluor Field will also host Bon Secours Night on Friday, where employees will be celebrated and testimonials will be shared all game long in recognition of the people who make Bon Secours one of the Drive’s valuable community partners.
On Saturday, June 23rd at 7:05 PM, the Drive will host their first of four “Copa de la Diversion” games at Fluor Field during the second half. “Copa de la Diversion” translates to “Fun Cup,” and it is Minor League Baseball’s initiative to embrace and engage the Hispanic communities of the participating teams. During each of the four games, the Drive will suit up as the “Greenville Energia,” which symbolizes the energy and passion of those that have helped Greenville become one of the fastest-rising cities in the country. Special jerseys and caps will draw on the Drive’s noteworthy red and blue color scheme and provide the Energia nickname a bold, sharp look. With special food and drink options, as well as entertainment, on tap, be sure to join us as Fluor Field plays host to a special night.
