Learn about how women led the Prohibition movement, enforced the 19th amendment and then led the charge to repeal. Major and minor historical figures, from Carry Nation and Susan B. Anthony to Mable Willebrandt and Pauline Sabin will be presented. Kathryn Smith will present a lively illustrated lecture–and tell you what happened on Valentine’s Day in 1929, too!
