The Peanut Butter and Jelly Kids Fun Run is back for a fourth year event! Organized by YMCA volunteers as a part of the Y's Togetherhood Initiative, this initiative allows Y members to collectively give back to the Travelers Rest community. This event will support the North Greenville Crisis Ministry. Each summer, hundreds of kids are not in school for lunch and there is a huge need for easily prepared meals for these children. One large need is for jars of peanut butter and jelly. Event Details Friday, June 14th 6 pm (NEW DATE) George I. Theisen Family YMCA (NEW LOCATION) Entry Fee One jar of peanut butter and one jar of jelly per participant. Jars will be collected at the event and you will receive your bib upon turning in your collection. Event Schedule and Race Distances 6:00 pm-Division 1-Ages 3 and under: 1/4 mile 6:05 pm-Division 2-Ages 4-6: 1/2 mile 6:10 pm-Division 3-Ages 7 and up: 1 mile **children must participate in the division of the age they are on race day Race Course All races will start and end at Travelers Rest United Methodist Church and run along the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail. Awards and Prizes All participants will receive a race bib, post-race snacks, and goodies Awards will be given to the top three male and female for each race Parents Parents are encouraged to run with your child in the Division 1 and 2 races.
