See that enthusiastic audience in the photo? You too can come play for the best crowds in the state and have a blast doing it too. We’re inviting you to come take part in an event like no other…

The Upstate Shakespeare Festival 2018 Season!

We will be celebrating our 24th season bringing the best of classical theatre to the Upstate this summer (and they said it couldn’t be done…)

Our 2017 Season is:
The Winter’s Tale (May 24-June 17)
Directed by John Fagan
The Taming of the Shrew (July 5-July 29)
Directed by Amber Ensley

If you haven’t done a show for us, you will need to schedule an audition time on Saturday April 14. We’ll need to see your best Shakespearean monologue of no longer than a minute. If you have a head shot and resume, bring them. If you don’t, don’t worry, its not a deal breaker. Also, no experience is needed.

Call John Fagan at 864.787.4016 to schedule an appointment or if you have any questions.

If you wish to help out on the Technical side, please contact John at the same number.

If you have already performed in one of the Festival’s productions, you can come to the call back nights without monologuing. Unless, you happen to be a student. Then you do still need to set up an audition slot, We want to see all you have learned over the year.
The call back nights will be Sunday April 15 at 7 pm and SATURDAY April 21 at 1 pm at the The Warehouse Theatre. We will focus on WINTER on Sunday and SHREW on Saturday.

Hope to see you there! It going to be another fun summer!
